Welcome to the Otter Pond
Established in 2008, The Orange Shoals Otters swim team currently swims in the Cherokee Summer Swim Association (CSSA). The CSSA is a summer swim league composed of community and subdivision swim teams in the Cherokee County area. The Otters welcome swimmers of all skills. Our swimmers range from age 5 to 18. The only minimum requirement is for the swimmer to be able to traverse the length of the pool (any stroke) unaided. We represent the Orange Shoals subdivision, but also welcome athletes from outside the neighborhood based on availability. Teams are assigned to one of three divisions based on a number of factors enabling them to compete in an equitable environment. Each division competes every week to determine a divisional champion.
