New Property Committee

The New Committee (NPC) was established to help us ascertain the best future use of the entry-way area properties acquired by the Orange Shoals HOA in 2007. Research potential uses and provide the residents with a break down of the costs associated with the possible different options for future use. Our goal is to prepare this information once this research and data is collected, and present it to the residents in order for our homeowners to make an informed decision and determine a plan and timeline to do so.

OBJECTIVES

Investigate potential uses for the New Property
Determine costs associated with potential uses
Determine neighborhood preferences for the New Property
Present research, data and findings to the HOA BOD

TASKS

Determine viability of dwelling as is and costs associated.
Determine viability of dwelling with improvements and costs associated.
Determine cost of removing dwelling and costs associated.
Determine potential uses for property without current dwelling, including the construction of walking trails, picnic benches, picnic shelter, gazebo, open pavilion, club house, soccer field, parking, or any combination thereof and costs associated.
Determine best estimated costs and start/end dates (based on formal quotes wherever possible) associated with each of the options
Work with the Board of Directors to determine neighborhood preference for the New Property once all research and data on associated costs for each potential plan is collected and presented to the residents.
